Welcome to our Official site...
Expats' Ladies Charities was founded June of 2008. We call ourselves then CDO Expats Ladies Charities. It was only me and eight other wives and long time partners of CDO Expats. My partners were, Cherry Ann Edwards, Jane Brigitte Honeycutt, Juliet James, Rio Jo, Marites Reber, Jhala Schaff Schaffner, Delilah McCrea and Rhu Bungabong.
After our first Christmas Party for Children at Landfill, Carmen (this is an area where the dumpsite of the city is located) last December 2008, some husbands let their wives and SO's join us and during our first January 2009 meeting. In that meeting, with the influx of new members, we changed our name into what it is today, the Expats' Ladies Charities, Inc.because of the fact that not all of us are residing in the city of CDO.
It is indeed amazing that we have come this far with only the trust and confidence of the Expatriate's Community as our source of finances for all our activities and projects. We remain true in our promised that we will be as transparent as we go along. Presenting them with our projects and where exactly their money/support went and giving them our utmost commitments, dedications and sincerity.
Today, as we face new challenges, we are opening our horizon and would soon be working with government and another non-government organization to be able to widen our services and show to the world that the Philippines still possess organizations free of vested interests and people are still dedicated and committed to serve for the well being of the general Filipino populace.
Above all, Expats Ladies Charities, Inc firmly believes that in serving the people and doing what is good and right is equal to serving the God Almighty...To GOD be Glory!
